If you've been exploring Fanka leggings, you may have noticed two compression levels: High Compression and Ultra Compression.
We've designed these two levels to suit different needs. But you might not be sure how they actually differ.
In this guide, we'll break down the key differences to help you choose the right option for your workouts and preferences.
Why We Created Ultra Compression
When we first launched core styles like PowerBand Resistance Leggings and Body Sculpt Leggings, they were built with High Compression, offering a balance of sculpting support, muscle engagement, and everyday comfort.
But over time, we kept hearing the same feedback from our community
“I wish the compression could be even stronger.”
Some wanted more sculpting, while others wanted more resistance during workouts.
That's why we introduced Ultra Compression, designed for maximum shaping and performance.
Across all Fanka collections, Ultra Compression styles are labeled as High Intensity. For example:
  • PowerBand High Intensity Leggings
  • Body Sculpt High Intensity Leggings
In other words, "High Intensity" means Ultra Compression, no matter the style.
High Compression vs Ultra Compression: Key Differences
Feature High Compression Ultra Compression
Tightness Firm Extra-Tight (1 Size Tighter)
Compression Zones Targeted Wider + Denser 3D Zones
Fabric Texture Smooth-Knit Finer, Silkier Feel (Higher Elastane)
Support Level Supportive Locked-In, Stronger Hold
Best For Daily Wear High-Intensity Training
Examples shown: PowerBand Resistance and PowerBand High-Intensity Leggings
1. Ultra Feels One Size Tighter
The first thing you'll notice is the tightness difference.
Ultra Compression is designed to feel about one size tighter than High Compression.
If you wear 'M' in High Compression, Ultra will most likely feel like S.
You can size up for comfort, but keep in mind: stronger compression comes from a tighter fit, which delivers more sculpting and support.

2. Denser 3D Sculpting Structure
At first glance, High and Ultra compression leggings may look similar. But Ultra Compression has a more advanced compression layout.
Compared to High Compression:
  • Wider coverage
  • Denser 3D sculpting lines
  • Different thread-mapping zones
This creates stronger support and a more intense sculpting feel, especially during workouts.

3. Finer, More Elastic Fabric Feel
Ultra Compression uses a different fabric construction.
  • Higher elastane
  • Denser knit structure
This results in:
  • Stronger stretch and hold
  • A more locked-in feel
  • A finer, smoother, silkier texture
Even with tighter compression, the fabric still feels flexible and comfortable.
Which Fanka Compression Level Should You Choose?
High Compression
Who it's for: Daily wear, light to moderate workouts like Pilates, walking, or everyday movement
Why: Provides firm but comfortable support, proven knit fabric, and gentle sculpting for all-day comfort
Ultra Compression
Who it's for: High-intensity workouts like HIIT, strength training, cycling, or anyone seeking stronger compression
Why: Extra-tight fit, wider and denser 3D compression zones, and locked-in hold for stronger muscle engagement & shaping
Tip: If you want the Ultra Compression feel but closer to High Compression comfort, you can size up. Note: sizing up will reduce the intended compression and sculpting effect.

So none of yoir leggings talk about helping with circulation? I thought I read somewhere that they did. I have circulation issues, my legs ache, they throb, I have varicose veins and many spider veins and I have cellulite. I do t read anywhere where you have leggings for all of my issues. I was sure I read an advertisement claiming that your leggings help with circulation. I am reaching out to g out to your company to see if you can give me some answers. I need a leggings that is good for my leg issues but that also holds me in, especially in the thigh area. My legs are thin but at the top of them near the thighs they protrude outward tremendously! I ou,d appreciate any feedback and help that you can offer and a recommendation for which legging I should try. Almso the size I would need.
I weigh 179#, I am 5”4 1/2” and my thighs are quite large. That is what I hate on me and my problem area.
TY very much.
