You’ve got your Fanka leggings. Here’s how to keep them comfortable, supportive, and performing their
best. With a little care, they’ll maintain their compression and feel great every time you wear them.
Why You Should Take Care
of Your Fanka Leggings
Fanka leggings get their support and compression
from the fabric itself, so taking care of the material helps them perform at their best.
If leggings are part of your weekly rotation, having 2–3 pairs is ideal. Wearing and washing the same
pair every day can make the fabric loosen faster, but with simple care, they’ll stay supportive and
comfortable for a long time.
How to Properly Wash and Dry
Fanka Leggings
Note: These steps are our recommended way to care for your
leggings. Our leggings are high-quality and
have been tested through multiple washes, so they’re built to last. Following these tips can help them
stay in great condition even longer.
Step 1: Turn them inside out
Very important. Protects the fabric, keeps colors vibrant, and prevents the 3D printed lines from
rubbing or fading
Step 2: Place in a mesh washing bag
Prevents stretching, snagging, or damage in the washing machine.
Step 3: Wash with similar soft items
Avoid denim, zippers, buttons, or embellished fabrics that could scratch or pull the leggings.
Step 4: Use cold water and gentle detergent
Very important. Cold water preserves fabric elasticity. Skip bleach or fabric softeners, which can
weaken compression fibers.
Step 5: Air dry whenever possible
Very important. Maintains elasticity and comfort, keeping your leggings supportive longer.
Step 6: If using a dryer, choose low heat
Remove immediately after the cycle ends to prevent wrinkles and stress on the fabric.

How to Prevent Your
Leggings from Pilling
and Fading
Step 1: Avoid rough surfaces
We’ve heard from many customers that the PowerLift™ lines can fade over time if they rub against rough
surfaces.
Step 2: Rotate your leggings
Wearing 2–3 times a week per pair lets the fibers recover and keeps the leggings supportive.
Step 3: Store carefully
Fold them in a drawer rather than hanging long-term to protect the waistband and maintain shape.
How Long Your Fanka Leggings Last
Fanka compression leggings can last a long time
if you take good care of them. How long they stay supportive depends on how often you wear them and what
kind of workouts you do.
Consider refreshing your pair if:
- The fabric or waistband feels less snug
- You notice pilling, fading, or worn spots
- They no longer provide that signature Fanka support
There’s no fixed schedule. Just listen to your leggings and treat them well, and they’ll stay supportive
and comfortable for years.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Never tumble dry on high heat. High heat can quickly damage the fabric fibers, which reduces compression and prevents your leggings from providing proper support.
- Wash with temperatures below 40°C
- Do not use bleach or dry clean.
- Do not iron
- Avoid washing with rough or embellished items that can snag or damage the fabric

A Note from Fanka
We hope this guide helps you take care of your Fanka leggings so they last longer and stay sustainable.
Our leggings are high-quality to begin with, and these tips show the best way to wash and care for them
so you can get the most out of your pair—but you don’t have to follow
every step perfectly. Compression leggings need a little extra attention compared to regular
leggings to keep their shape and function,
and the fabric itself is what makes that possible.

Honestly, I just throw mine in the dryer and so far no issues at all!
Just got my Fanka leggings. can I toss them in the dryer, or is that a no-go? anyone?
I always wash mine in cold water and hang dry. They’ve stayed perfect for months!
